X3 TERRAN CONFLICT MODS MOD
this mod replaces the default menu background with a simple star field. Other than those I'd point you here if you want to check out what's available. From PCGamingWiki, the wiki about fixing PC games X3: Terran Conflict. Both TC and AP have official bonus packs available which are mandatory for me. An easy solution is to just not buy those ships but it's so tempting.Ĭycrow's Plugin Manager ( has some nice scripts included in the package manager. A small and perhaps odd complaint about AP is that some of the most powerful ships from TC are available for purchase which can make the game a bit less challenging than TC. I've played quite a bit of TC and AP and prefer AP overall, although it doesn't offer all the plotlines from TC. If you want to know what changed between TC and Albion Prelude this is a developer post about the changes. I own X3: Reunion but never really played it so I can't tell you what's different between that and Terran Conflict. Found a few, actually some EVE ships, but whatever mods I had tried have crashed the game so I have to start over Again, mostly the Universe Trader and "scripts that make impossibly hard things possible in X3" like response fleets and satellite integration with traders and such.Īlso, any links to where I can still download functional ships. Was hoping to find someone who might have some experience that can tell me what mods I should get for any or all three of the X3 games. But I remember reading that one of the things it would do was implement a lot of the common mods. Now, when I had last played, Terran Conflict was still vaporware. Mostly I remember having Firefly class tramp freighters running as "Universe Traders" with wings of Nova's flying escort, and had started tinkering with complexes and the "Player Response Fleets" mod.Ī lot of mods, and, particularly, ships seem to be offline now. I had X3 all tricked out once upon a time dozens of new ships, mods, etc. I'm thinking about uninstalling and then reinstalling everything but using the X3:TC 3.0 patch instead of the 3.So, I re-purchased X3 on steam as the whole bundle was only $25 and I need a good space game right now.
X3 TERRAN CONFLICT MODS HOW TO
I have a nagging feeling that the X3:TC 3.2 patch might included the bonus pack, but I can't quite remember.Īny suggestions for how to get this working? I'm quite invested in my current game and don't want to start over with x-tended v2.0 just yet! I then updated to 3.2 and installed the 1.2a x-tended mod.
X3 TERRAN CONFLICT MODS INSTALL
I before installing the x-tended mod I removed my previous X3:TC install (uninstalled then deleted old directory), and reinstalled in a different directory. The new functionality is then accessible via Special -> Ship Services. When you look at their inventory with the F key they don't list a jumpdrive as an installed component, but when you dock them at a station you are prevented from buying one because they are shown as already having one. Any ship that wants to use these services needs to have the Supply Command Software upgrade installed (available from Argon Equipment docks and some Terran/ATF installations). None of the ships with built in jump drives will carry out a jump command, but all can be manually jumped by the player with shift + j.
